CBC has earned even more cool points! If their Hip Hop Summit earlier this year didn’t do it, the documentary Love, Props and the T Dot certifies the crown corporation’s shift in the right direction. Love, Props and the T Dot is a factual look at the origins and originators of the Canadian hip hop scene to present day. Interviews, rare footage and clips from the afore mentioned CBC Hip Hop Summit are woven together to tell a powerful story about the birth of a fledgling underground movement.
Kardinal Offishall stars in the first edition of “Once Assembled” by photographer Bobby O’neill. The fine art photographic collection features a selection of historic landmarks where people “Once Assembled” to create culturally significant works of art. In the Toronto edition of the collection Bobby focuses on significant landmarks in Canadian hip hop history and has chosen Kardinal to be the featured Artist.
